The special mouth is designed so that the inside of the container is not visible when it is opened with the pedal.

The tampon placed on the base of the lid mouth falls into the container as soon as you take your foot off the pedal.

The rear rod that joins the pedal to the lid is designed to let the operator remove the bag by simply moving the lid sideways, without actually separating the two.
